Sam Coy joins the CaseWorthy team with over 13 years’ experience in the nonprofit world and an additional 5 years’ experience working with a SaaS model enterprise solution. She shares a wide understanding of measuring outcomes and demonstrating impact through the use software in the non-profit and human service sector across the northeast region.
Sam is a native of Worcester, MA graduating High School with a full academic scholarship to any college or university within the United States. She attended Northeastern University and attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. She attended Massachusetts School of Law (Andover) and attained her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and served as a 3:03 Assistant District Attorney for the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office in the State of Massachusetts prior to joining our team. Additionally, Sam attended Harvard University Extension School for two years and obtained her MBA from Nichols College. Currently, she is working on her Ph.D. in Law and Public Policy at Walden University in which her doctoral work and research is premised on nonprofit sustainability through the use of funder required performance measures.
Sam has been locally and nationally recognized for her dedication and commitment to serving her community in the City of Boston and Worcester, Massachusetts. In 2011, Sam was featured in Fairbridge Magazine highlighting her rise and call to action in the 1990’s. In 2006, she was featured in PEOPLE Magazine and awarded the prestigious “Hero Among Us” Award. The Boston Globe, Worcester Telegram & Gazette, CBS News Early Show and WBZ Talk Radio have also featured the work Sam has done to improve the quality of life of the young people she served in the community.
